Barnsley & District 205 EDT 205V
EDT 205V was the first mk2 Leyland National to enter service for Yorkshire Traction in January 1980. The bus was allocated to Rawmarsh depot as 205. The bus then passed onto Barnsley and District (a subsidiary of Yorkshire Traction) in 1994 where it remained for the rest of its working life. The bus was originally purchased for preservation directly from service with Barnsley and district on 5th April 2002. After spending a few years attending local rallies the bus was parked up and stood in an outside storage yard for almost two decades. It was finally rescued from the yard in early 2023 and a full restoration has commenced.
WYPTE Metrobus 6294 PUA 294W
Leyland Atlantean AN68 built in 1981 by Charles Roe of Leeds for the West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive. She served most of her working life in Huddersfield for the WYPTE, Yorkshire Rider and First Bus, with a short stint at Bradford before being retired and bought for preservation. 6294 is one of the original vehicles at the start of WRBG in 2018.
West Riding Buses 412 M412 UNW
New in October 1994 as a batch of 24 Alexander Striders for the West Riding Group, 412 was assigned to the Yorkshire Buses division at Heckmondwike. After purchase by Arriva, the Heckmondwike Striders were allocated to Castleford in exchange for Dennis Lances, but by 2008 many of them had been withdrawn or sold. 412 was transferred to Arriva Midlands for driver training duties, but the conversion didn't go ahead and it was put into service as number 9529. From 2010 to 2013, it was numbered 212 with Tanat Valley and then re-registered as SIL9041 with Wheelers Travel for private and school hire. It was purchased for preservation in November 2019 collecting it from Southampton and taking it to East Yorkshire Motors Services for repairs and repainting.
Kenzies Coaches HFL 14W
Kenzies of Shepreth in Cambridgeshire was founded in 1947 and had a reputation for well maintained coaches and a heritage fleet. "14W" was bought new in 1980 and remained with the business until it closed in 2019. It was serviced and MOT'd every year until the business closed despite only seeing very occasional use towards the end. It has 10 metre long Plaxton Supreme IV bodywork with 45 seats on a Bedford YMQ chassis. The coach is in a very original condition with no significant modifications during its life. It has been owned by Owen Ryder and part of the White Rose Bus Group collection since 2019.
WYPTE Forklift
Volvo B6BLE - HC04 BBB
This was one of 2 Volvo B6BLEs new to Plaxton in 1999 as development vehicles for a new body designated 'Concept 2000' for the new millennium. Events overtook Plaxton as the company was bought by Transbus and the 2 vehicles were dumped at the back of the factory unfinished. Henry Coopers purchased both buses, finished them off and registered them in 2004. The sister was registered NK54PHV and was sold on, eventually ending up at Go North East and was scrapped in 2015. HC04BBB was retained by Coopers and spent its entire working career with them working school contracts or as a spare vehicle. It entered preservation when bought by a WRBG member in November 2023.
Kenzies Coaches YJE 3T
"3T" was bought new by Kenzies in 1979 and remained with the business until it closed in 2019. It is an 11.3m long, 53 seat Plaxton Supreme IV on a Bedford YMT chassis. It was one of 6 Plaxton Supremes that remained at Kenzies when they closed in 2019. "3T" was owned by Paul Bryan of Cleethorpes for 4 years during which it had some mechanical work done and a full repaint. It joined sister ex-Kenzies Supreme IV coach HFL14W at the White Rose Bus Group in July 2023.

Transdev Blazefield 1063 Y163 HRN
Originally fleet numbered 1063. It spent most of its life at Transdev Blazefield working across a few different depots (Burnley, Keighley & Harrogate to name a few)..Originally carrying fleet number 1063, it was new to Burnley & Pendle in 2001. It spent most of its life at Transdev Blazefield working across a few different depots (Burnley, Keighley & Harrogate to name a few). In 2018, 1063 was sold to Reliance Motor Services based in Sutton on the Forrest (near York) and received a makeover into the Reliance livery it still carries today. It operated services from York to places such as Thirsk, Easingwold & Helmsley, occupying the Reliance fleet number 10. On the 12th July 2021, Y163 HRN carried its last passengers in public service on hire to York Pullman on a school service between Tadcaster Grammar School & Healaugh (001S). The next day it entered preservation and has been a member of the White Rose bus group since 2022.
JM Coaches P10 CAE
East Yorkshire 629 S629 MKH
S629 MKH was new in 1998 to East Yorkshire Motor Services and was delivered to the Anlaby Road depot in Hull. It was originally painted in a blue and cream livery and was initially purchased for the use on the 56/56A services. After its use in Hull it was transferred to the Pocklington depot where it was mostly used until its withdrawal. It was often used on the 744 York-Bridlington as well as the other services they ran such as York via the villages and the 745/746 York - Market Weighton. It was withdrawn from EYMS and sold to Coachleasing in 2015 along with others for use on a variety of hire and contract work. It was purchased for preservation in 2020 and painted into two tone cream and burgundy livery.

West Riding Buses 252 C920 FMP
The first production Leyland bodied Lynx has joined the collection. It was new 1986 and was registered in 1987. It was used as a demonstrator with AA Buses, Midland Red & United Autos before arriving at West Riding Buses at their Wakefield depot where it initially carried 216 as the fleet number before going across to Sheffield & District and being renumbered to 252. In 1989 it returned back to West Riding Buses at Wakefield where she served the rest of her working life in service and as a driver trainer, and in 2007 she was bought for preservation and put through a heavy restoration with The Works in Blackpool where it was repainted into the green and cream. She has had 2 previous owners since joining us. Since then, it has joined us at White Rose Bus Group.

1983 Austin Mini Mayfair - EVH 912Y
She is debumpered at both the front and back. She is currently undergoing remedial work to the front wings and sills which include sill stand tubes to allow ease of axle stands without compromising the delicate floor.
The Interior includes a black moulded carpet, black headlining, Cobra vinyl bucket seats and TRW Sabelt 4 point harnesses. The engine is a overbored 998 taken out to 1046cc (+60 thousand). It has a MED cross drilled, wedged and hardened crank, Lightened and balanced MED rods, MED X-lite lightened fly wheel and back plate, ARP con-rod bolts, Orange diaphragm turbo clutch, Mini Sport Stage 3 head, Mini Sport CA4 camshaft, and Mini Sport duplex timing gears. The exhaust system is a RC-40 stainless system with LCB manifold. The carb is a HIF 38 with K&N cone filter on Mini Spares inlet manifold. The engine uses an Aldon automotive distributor, split fire silicon leads and a Lucas Sport coil.
Evie has all the relevant receipts and history dating back to 1997. It is expected to be completed for use in the Summer of 2024.
